North Country Parent Assistance Center

The North Country Parent Assistance Center (NCPAC) is designed to provide parents with the resources, trainings, and strategies needed to enhance their skills and increase their level of confidence to communicate more effectively and work collaboratively with schools and other stakeholders.

St. Vincent de Paul Society - Food Pantry

The St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry is a non-profit organization that provides affordable food options. The pantry is open Monday-Friday from 10am-3:45pm, and the office hours are Monday through Friday from 10:00am-3:00pm.

Ogdensburg Neighborhood Center

Each Neighborhood Center has a food pantry and assists with food and other emergencies such as utilities, fuel and shelter. The Directors work with families in the area of family development, budgeting, education and job search. The centers operate with funds from the county, United Way and private donations.

Massena Salvation Army

The Massena Salvation Army provides access to a food pantry, bread room, rent assistance, utility assistance and job training.

Helping Hands

Helping Hands offer emergency help with food, heat, housewares, furniture, and fresh produce in season

Hammond Food Pantry

The Hammond Food Pantry provides food assistance, free clothing, and referrals to government agencies.

Freihofer Bakery Outlet

The Freihofer Bakery Outlet is a grocery outlet that sells bread items at affordable prices.

Catholic Charities St. Lawrence County

Catholic Charities supports families, aging adults and adults with disabilities, and youth through social services and opportunities for healthy growth and development

Canton Neighborhood Center - Food Pantry

The Canton Neighborhood Center provides a food pantry and assistance with food and other emergencies such as utilities, fuel and shelter. The centers are staffed by a Director and provide services to low-income families with the assistance of community volunteers

Canton Church & Community Program

Thrift store has affordable second-hand clothing available to everyone. Other assistance programs are location based and available to residents of the Towns and Villages of Canton and Hermon; the Towns of Clare, DeKalb, and Russell; and the Village of Rensselaer Falls. Photo ID and verification of current address required to access assistance programs. The Food Pantry provides food and some other essentials to those in need and offers referrals for additional assistance.
